We had a lovely stay at La Flanerie in Vieille-Toulouse! the house is stunning, with a 200-year-old core, set on a hill in a huge garden overlooking the river. Our room had a breathtaking view and was equipped with beautiful antique furniture. the bathroom was modern and had a great shower. the breakfast room was cozy, with a fire burning, and the breakfast itself was delicious. the staff at the reception were very friendly and accommodating. We also had a great dinner at the nearby fish restaurant "Le Clapotis. " it was a romantic and peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Nothing to fault! 👌

Breathtaking views of the river Garonne from the outdoor terrace and swimming pool, where you can feel like you're on top of the world. The breakfast room with a fireplace offers a cozy and charming atmosphere, perfect for starting your day. The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities, like a mini bar and a flat-screen TV, making you feel like a VIP guest. The buffet breakfast served on the terrace allows you to enjoy not only a delicious meal but also the stunning views of the river Garonne. The hotel's location high on a wooded hill surrounded by gardens and woodland provides a peaceful and serene environment, as if you were in a fairytale.
Bathrooms could benefit from a renovation, opting for showers instead of bathtubs.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled on a remote hillside overlooking the Garrone River. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with historic French antiques. I especially loved the cozy bed and the access to a small outside terrace where I could admire the breathtaking river view. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast spread was delicious. It felt like staying at a luxurious bed and breakfast rather than a hotel.
Everything was absolutely perfect during my stay.

The owners of the hotel, a young Irish husband and wife, clearly work hard to run their small hotel. It is ideal for those wishing to be in a rural situation very close to Toulouse. The quality of the croissants at breakfast was very high and we were totally left in peace, in the nicest possible way. Our bedroom was comfortable, without being luxurious, and the view, over the Garonne, charming for as long as Toulouse remains at bay.
The house has been carved up at some point over the years, to squeeze bathrooms and miniature halls into bedrooms. As a passionate conservationist, the way it had been done was entirely clinical and on the cheap. Likewise the old corridors and staircase had longsince been wrecked by additional 'rustification' and it was without any sympathy to this 19th century Maison de Maitre. The addition of a stack of concrete garages marring the front of the house was sad.
